Norma School Kindergarten is comprised of six classrooms and approximately 110 kindergarten students. Students experience a small school setting that is developed upon the Early Childhood model, allowing students to develop and learn on individual levels, focusing on specific academic needs.  Students are able to grow and acquire new learning skills that are developmentally appropriate. Exploration and discovery is encouraged.

Currently, students participate in a rigorous, full day program where curriculum exceeds the state standards and students are exposed to cross curricular instruction as well as exposure to technology and intensive literacy programs.  Kindergarten students at Norma School have a literacy based computer lab daily, in addition to a balanced literacy program including Rigby Guided Reading and Wilson FUNdations, and Everyday Mathematics curriculums.
