Fabulous February News . . . 

The week of February 6th through the 10th is National School Counselor WEEK.  Our school counselor works with our children on many topics.  Tell you son/daughter to thank their counselor for their dedication.

Tuesday, February 7th is Bassetti Spring Class Pictures day.  Don’t forget to smile!

Beginning on Tuesday, February 7th the Salem County Sheriff’s Office will be providing the D.A.R.E. (Drug Awareness Resistance Education) Program to our Pre-School and Kindergarten students. The program will be held for 4 weeks. The officer will discuss conflict resolution and other age appropriate topics in our Preschool and Kindergarten setting.  Check out Norma School’s website for activities.  Click on the DARE link and scroll to the bottom of the website under announcements.

Thursday, February 16
th is an Early Dismissal Day for students.  There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 17thand Monday, February 20th in observance of President’s Weekend.  School will REOPEN on Tuesday, February 21st.  Enjoy your long weekend! 

Monday, February 27th is the start of Read Across America WEEK and the start of our Dr. Seuss Activities.    We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Thursday, March 2nd.  A.P. Schalick High School’s National Honor Society students will visit our school on Monday, February 27th and read Dr, Seuss books to our students. There are other activities planned in each classroom all week. Please don’t forget to dress up to help us celebrate:                 

 Monday, February 27th is Wear Silly Glasses.
 Tuesday, February 28th is Wear Green.
 Wednesday, March 1st is Wear Pajamas.
 Thursday, March 2nd is Wear Stripes.
 Friday, March 3rd is Wear Silly Socks.
